This story is that Chihiro who is heroine went to a ryokan(inn) with a hot spring where eight million gods gathered and worked this spa. And then, her parentes ware witched and became a pig. Chihiro was left all alone in this world. She was helped by Haku who is a mystery boy. She decied to help her parents with him.
Chihiro discovers Power of Live in this world. Chihiro experienced many difficulty, but she confronted hardship with determination.

Many charactors appeared on this movie such as Chihiro, Haku, Yuba-ba, Kamajii, and Kaonashi(no face).

There is model's building of an inn where appeared on this movie in Tsurumaki-Onsen, Hatano-shi, Kanagawa. This onsen has historic atmosphere.

Sento-Chihiro established top record in the movie industry performance in Japan. Performance income of this movie was thirty billion and four hundred million yen, and the number of audience mobilization was twenty three million people.
This movie outstripped Titanic and Tokyo Olympic which is a movie.
By the way, the second and third performance income is Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke whici Studio Ghibli's work, too.
Sento-Chihiro received Kinkuma Prize in Berlin International Movie Festival. In addition, this movie receied many Prizes.
